From Devon With Love

Willy’s Wandering Sauna started life as evening hangouts between the father and son duo of Jonty and Sam Williams. Working from a barn-based workshop overlooking Dartmoor, we acquired a classic (old) Rice horse box from a neighbouring farm.

Slowly bringing it back to life, we milled and planed local timber, bought a Scandinavian wood-burner, and set about putting it all together. Now complete, we’re delighted to see it works(!) and we’re enjoying sharing it.

Being mobile, the sauna is at its best by the river or the seaside, but we soon realised we needed an outdoor shower for when that’s not possible. Keeping things crafty, we created the Willowly Shower from willow coppiced on the farm.

We share an ecological worldview, whereby everything is defined in relationship to all else. It’s in this spirit that we share our sauna, so that you and your guests can connect with your bodies, each other, and beautiful places.
